Thursday October 16
This day's activities will be held at the Fuqua School of Business. A shuttle will depart the La Quinta Inn at 2:15.


2:30-3:00 P.M. FDIB Introduction/ Workshop Overview (Weiss, Teegen, Lewin)

3:00-5:00 P.M. International Business Concepts, Themes and Arenas (Teegen)

5:00-5:15 P.M. Break

5:15-6:30 P.M. InterCultural Edge (ICE): Culture as a Bridge Between International Business and Negotiation (Russell, Lewin, Weiss, Teegen)

6:30-7:30 Dinner at the Thomas Center

7:30-9:30 P.M. Negotiation Concepts, Frameworks, Approaches (Weiss)

Friday, October 17
This day's activities will be held at the Thomas Center at the Fuqua School of Business. A shuttle service will depart from the hotel at 8:30 A.M. The hotel serves a continental breakfast, and there will also be continental breakfast items available at out meeting room.

Free time/preparation of tomorrow's CIBER simulation exercise "World Energy Corporation in the Netherlands" (Please note: this link will take you to the information page on the simulation, but participants do not need to place an order for a copy. Each participant will be sent their role information in early October, and will receive a copy of the complete simulation at the workshop.)

6:30-7:30 P.M. Dinner at Thomas Center

A shuttle will depart for the hotel at 9:40 P.M.

Saturday, October 18
This day's activities will be held at the Thomas Center at the Fuqua School of Business. A shuttle service will depart from the hotel at
8:30 A.M. The hotel serves a continental breakfast, and there will also be continental breakfast items available at out meeting room.

10:45-12:15 Conclusions on Arenas Structure (Weiss & Teegen)

12:15-12:30 Introduction to CIBER Simulation "World Energy Corporation in the Netherlands" (Lewin & White) (Please note: this link will take you to the information page on the simulation, but participants do not need to place an order for a copy. Each participant will be sent their role information in early October, and will receive a copy of the complete simulation at the workshop.)

12:30-2:00 Lunch at Thomas Center/ Final Preparation for Simulation

2:00-5:30 CIBER Simulation and Debriefing (Lewin & White)

5:30-6:30 Workshop Wrap-up (Teegen & Weiss)

Shuttle departs for the hotel at 6:40 P.M. At 7:00 P.M. a shuttle departs for Chapel Hill from hotel. Dinner on your own in Chapel Hill ; there is also a Red Lobster directly next to the hotel for those not wishing to travel. 10:00 P.M. bus returns from Chapel Hill.

Sunday, October 19

9:00-12:00 A.M. One-on-one consultations with workshop leaders (optional). Consultations will be held at the La Quinta Inn.
