Duke CIBER's most recent program, the National Forum on Trade Policy , originated as a joint initiative with the North Carolina Department of Commerce and the CIBER at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The purpose of the forum is to bring together high level officials, including two U.S. trade representatives appointed by the governor of each state, state trade directors, industry senior executives, faculty, and scholars to explore and find proactive solutions to increasing economic integration.
