Global Academic Travel Experience (GATE)
As part of ourmission to help internationalize the Fuqua School of Business, the center funds new GATE courses giving Fuqua students the opportunity to internationalize their MBA experience. While participating in GATE courses, students receive three elective credit hours and learn about business, government, economics, culture, and other aspects of a particular country and region of the world.
International Visiting Scholars
We accept several international visiting scholars to the Fuqua School of Business. During their one-year stay, international scholars will be integrated into the academic community; attend meetings, workshops, seminars, and conferences; and conduct research in their disciplines. This initiative further promotes the internationalization of the Fuqua School and Duke University. It also provides the opportunity for international scholars, students, and faculty to interact and mutually learn from one another. In addition, it is an outreach outlet to other international institutions, paving the way for networking and future collaboration.
