The Fuqua School of Business offers a program for international students who are non-native speakers of English. The International Student Bootcamp not only prepares international students to succeed in The Duke MBA program, it offers support and guidance throughout the two years that students study at Duke. With an emphasis on business case study, teamwork, and class participation, students take part in a comprehensive program of cold call lectures, case presentations to demanding audiences, job search skill development, advocacy and persuasion exercises, and a variety of assignments that prepare them for the rigors of graduate school in the U.S. Tutors and faculty in the program are available to support students at every stage of their MBA experience.
Please refer to your admission letter to verify if the International Student Bootcamp is recommended or required for you as an international student. If the International Student Bootcamp is a requirement, you must complete the International Student Bootcamp application form and send it with a non-refundable $500 deposit check payable to “Duke University” to the address listed on the application form. The application form can also be faxed to 919-660-2905 or emailed to Claire Styles, Coordinator of the program at firstname.lastname@example.org. The application form and deposit must be received by May 15.
